Order Status
You may call or email us to obtain information and status of your order.
Pricing:
Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered, and designhouse reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
For volume contract pricing please call or email the store.
Price Guarantee:
designhouse.ca will beat or match any price being offered by a competitor. After we verify the competitor's price, we will make special arrangements to complete your order. If you require more information or to request authorization, please call or email us.
Exceptions and conditions -
- Sales and clearance prices offered by competitors do not qualify.
- Shipping, handling, currency conversion, or any other cost factors are considered to be part of the price, not just the basic price of the product.
- Some manufacturers specify the retail prices of their products. In such cases we contact the manufacturer and accept their recommendation.
Cancellations:
Cancellations received more than 3 days after the order confirmation may be subject to a maximum 50% of the order total as a cancellation/restocking fee, in addition to any shipping charges incurred.
Returns:
Merchandise purchased from designhouse may be returned for store credit or exchange only within 14 days of receipt of goods if accompanied by original receipt and in original condition and in original packaging. Returns must be pre-authorized by calling 604 681 2800. Returns received and not pre-authorized will be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Non-stock items and custom made items are usually not returnable.
Refunds are not issued except in the case of defective merchandise which designhouse is unable to replace.
Returns must be properly packed. Actual cost of shipping item to you will not be credited or refunded, unless the product is defective.
A store credit is valid for six months from date of issue and will be forfeited afterward.
Claims for defective or damaged items must be filed within 7 days of delivery. Inspect your items immediately upon delivery. Claims received after 7 days of delivery will not be considered. For return authorization please call 604 681 2800.
Specific Product Information:
Lead times, color and material previews, may vary and should only be used for reference. designhouse does not take responsibility for inaccuracies due to uncontrollable events and circumstances. If the lead time for your order is subject to change, designhouse will make every effort to inform you and keep you up to date on the status of your product.
Copyrights:
All content included on designhouse.ca, including images, schematic drawings, sounds, video, and text, are subject to copyright laws. All proprietary content remains the property of the originator and may not be copied or duplicated without proper consent.
Customer Obligations:
All orders require a signature upon delivery as proof of receipt.
It is the responsibility of the customer to be available at the time of delivery or make alternate receiving arrangements. Should a shipment be deemed undeliverable, any additional expenses as well as reschedule times remain the sole responsibility of the customer (including but not limited to: shipment return to sender).
The customer should carefully inspect both the packing and product upon arrival for damage to ensure any potential claims can be dealt with in a timely manner. Should issues occur, clients are encouraged to document any damages or defects with supplemental photographs.
Please be fully aware of the shipping options you are choosing for delivery as some require the customer to physically move the product into their homes.
designhouse or any associated carriers, will not move customer owned furniture to make room for delivery of products.
Taxes and Duties:
designhouse is located in British Columbia, Canada.
12% HST is charged on all sales to customers in BC. Customers from other provinces with HST will be charged HST at their province's rate. Customers from provinces without HST will be charged GST at 5%.
All products shipped outside of Canada are NOT subject to HST or any other Canadian tax. However they may be subject to duties, tariffs and additional taxes that are applied by the destination country. All of these applicable duties are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Shipping and Billing Address:
designhouse is able to ship to an address that differs from the Billing Address, please indicate the desired Shipping Address during the checkout process.
If you require products to go to multiple addresses please purchase the items for each location individually, or contact the store for help.
We do not ship to PO Boxes.
User Warranties:
In placing an order, you warrant that you are over 18 years of age, and that you are providing accurate, true, and complete information, and that you have the authority to place the order.
Disclaimer of Warranties:
You expressly understand and agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk and that this site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. designhouse makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials or products included on this site.
Indemnification:

We reserve the right to terminate your account and restrict your use of this site if we have reason to believe you have violated any of these terms and conditions, including providing us with false information.
